Fostering leadership at all levels is a big focus for us at Teekay. We believe everyone is a leader – regardless of position or title.
As we work toward our vision of being the Most Trusted shipping company, we’re focusing our collective efforts on three simple leadership pillars. They are intended to help us all be more mindful and aspirational about our own leadership behavior.

In this ‘Leadership’ edition of the podcast, we focus on the theme of ‘Doing the Right Thing’ – reminding us to be mindful of how we earn the trust of others and stand up for what we believe in. We explore a colleague’s hesitation to step up to a well deserved promotion and hear from the people who believed in her. We also connect with Claire Booth, entrepreneur and author of the Achiever Fever Cure, to unpack why this colleague felt hesitation to take her promotion in the first place.
