More than 21 Million Barrels of Crude Oil have Been Lifted by the FPSO
July 29, 2018 marked a significant milestone for Teekay Corporation’s directly-owned Hummingbird Spirit FPSO: the vessel has successfully completed its 100th offload at the Chestnut field in the United Kingdom sector of the North Sea.
This 100th parcel also happens to be one of the largest in the field’s history, ringing in at more than 230,000 barrels.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in this off-take as well as the previous 99 safely carried out. This achievement is a testament to the dedication and professionalism of the entire crew – both offshore and onshore.
