Meet Teekay Australia’s Captain Nick Wood, AWD Sea Trials Ship Master for the Air Warfare Destroyer Alliance.
Captain Nick Wood is a ship master and port captain who manages sea trial programs and specialized maritime projects at Teekay Australia. He has served on 12 ships with a track record of 15-years of sea experience, transiting over ten ocean regions from the North Sea to the Antarctic ice shelf.
With support from our Teekay Australia team, Captain Nick is currently operating AWD vessels to sea and supporting the Alliance to safely and successfully perform all the requirements across the Sea Trials period.
