55-day voyage from Tenerife to Brownsville
Earlier this year, towing and anchor handling vessel ALP Guard and ALP Winger were delivered in Las Palmas. The vessels were contracted on the 55-day voyage from Tenerife, Spain to Brownsville in the US Gulf. Prior to the departure, ALP Guard performed some anchor handling duties to get the rig ready and together with ALP Winger, the tow was completed to its delivery point in Brownsville. The convoy made an average speed of 3,85 knots – a very satisfactory speed with this rig.
