At the 2009 NOR-Shipping exhibition in Oslo, the Amundsen Spirit received the Clean Shipping Award in recognition of outstanding efforts to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases. The Amundsen Class is our latest generation of shuttle tankers. Developed in response to the increasing focus on environmental performance by its charterers, as well as Norwegian authorities in the North Sea, these shuttle tankers will be the most sophisticated and eco-friendly ever built.
