On December 17, 2015 we said farewell to Teekay’s Mr. Teekay, David Glendinning. During David’s last visit to the Teekay Gas operations office in Glasgow, MD John Adams gave a great short speech reviewing a Teekay life fully lived.
David was the first person John ever met at Teekay in 1988. He has observed David’s career from near and afar ever since. From the growth of Teekay from 4 vessels to 60 in the early years; through transition after Torben’s death; and into Bjorn’s ‘strategy years’; to the today’s golden age of gas, John shares some memorable times and acknowledges an end of an era.
