“The story of Roel born to be an Engineer but converted by the course of life to become a Food Fashioner.
When I was a child I decided that I will choose the adventurer way of life, traveling around the world, looking for new interesting places and people! After some time passed, I finished the Marine Engineer course at Cagayan Capitol University in Philippines and since that time, my traveling adventure begun! I went to the city of Manila as a stepping stone and found a job in a restaurant while I was still looking for marine engineering vacancies as an engine cadet in some shipping agency. Unfortunately there were no any available position as a cadet and I was hired as a mess-man. The second vessel I joined once again as mess-man and almost lost my hope to get the job as an engineer. But suddenly I got promoted as a second cook. I was not expecting that, and it was a sort of miracle for me. Only very short time passed and I was taking over the duties of a chief cook. It was very easy for me as a chief cook career but not as a marine engineer. Well, that’s called destiny.
Cooking food is an art. In my opinion food should look delicious and beautiful! It is a fashion now!
On the picture are two cute kids: boy and girl, that symbolized by eggplant and zucchini on carving in the vegetables, then the parrot on the top of the cage – sign of resurrection, Jesus Christ rising from the death. I made this in preparation of Easter on the Summit Spirit my actual vessel.”
