In 2022, 63% of our fleet reached the significant milestone of Goal Zero. In 2023, we increased this to 75%!
A year ago, we made Goal Zero our top priority and the ultimate standard of safety excellence, reflecting in our key performance indicator and in everything that we do, here in Teekay.
As we reflect on the past year, we take pride in our progress and eagerly share the results for 2023.
Throughout the year, we saw a steady increase in the number of vessels achieving Goal Zero. By the end of 2023, 75% of our fleet attained the Goal Zero status!
The vessels that have maintained this noteworthy status have been celebrated, adding in a symbolic plaque for their unwavering commitment to safety. Before dispatch, the plaques were held with pride by members of our shore team who contributed to this amazing feat.
Director of HSEQ, Akash Mittra also humbly announced that 2023 has been a Lost Time Injury-free calendar year and an overall great year of Safety through everyone’s relentless and steadfast dedication to our Safety objectives and an unwavering belief in our Safety Commitments.
