Axel Karlshoej, is no stranger to Teekay. He is the older brother to our late founder, Torben Karlshoej and also a remarkable leader that stepped up to ensure Torben’s dream of building the world’s leading shipping company lived on.
After 50 years, we are widening the spotlight to include Axel, Torben’s trusted brother and Teekay’s pillar of strength and voice of reason.
Axel’s influence has propelled Teekay into reaching our 50th year, strong. He inspired others to pursue their passion and kept Torben’s philosophy of fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration at the forefront of his leadership.
