Gemini Tankers has welcomed another partner, joining Teekay Corporation and König & Cie. Diamond S Shipping Group will be adding eight vessels to the Suezmax pool through the end of 2012; and the pool will grow to 26 vessels in that time.
“We are delighted that Diamond S Shipping has joined the Gemini Suezmax tanker pool. The addition of their eight, high quality newbuild tankers delivering over the course of 2012 further modernizes our fleet and solidifies our position as the premier Suezmax tanker pool,” commented Håkan Svedin, Gemini’s Managing Director.

To them we can offer a fantastic modern Suezmax fleet operating across the globe, with a focus on the Atlantic spot markets.” Mr. Svedin added.
