Teekay’s collaboration with Canadian Natural Resources won the “Excellence in Collaboration” from this year’s Decom North Sea for our Banff Decommissioning Project.
The Excellence in Collaboration Award recognizes outstanding teamwork which has led to the opportunity to reduce decommissioning costs in the North Sea, significantly improve safety and contributions to the development of the decommissioning sector and/or the move towards energy transition.
Teekay and CNR’s collaboration and teamwork to compile a joint decommissioning program and execute a combined offshore decommissioning campaign at the beginning of COVID were recognized as being a technically challenging project, involving multiple stakeholders executed over a very short period of time.
We are honored to have received this recognition and would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved with this project for their hard work and dedication in achieving this important milestone.
