As part of #TeekayAustralia social media week, we are sharing the story of some of our talented people in the team. First up is Jamie Anderson, Business Development Manager. Jamie joined Teekay in 2012 to support KT Maritime (KTM), Teekay Australia’s joint venture with Kotug International B.V. His goal was to support the team gain market entry in the highly competitive marine towage and offshore service vessel segments. One of his major career milestones has been to help KT Maritime win a 10-15 year contract to operate three infield support vessels for the prestigious Shell Prelude FLNG project – the world’s largest floating offshore facility. This award played a very important role for KT Maritime providing them an opportunity to position themselves for future FLNG and harbor towage contracts. “My Teekay story has been one of empowerment” Jamie said. “The Teekay Australia team has given me a level of trust and respect that, to be perfectly honest, I was not expecting from a New York publicly-listed company. This provides me with the flexibility to develop partnerships with our clients.”
