The Teekay procurement department serves all aspects of the organization, meeting both its operational and corporate needs.

Through careful negotiation, vendor relationship management and consolidated annual spending, we achieve high standards in procurement measures, both commercially and technically.

The Procurement department provides it services through three major groups: bunkering, contract management and facilitation, and spot purchasing. Teekay purchases all fuels needed in the operation of our fleet, and for chartered vessels. We apply fuel specifications beyond ISO specifications – achieving both commercial and environmental goals at the same time.
