For the last three years, Teekay Vancouver has partnered with Variety – The Children’s Charity to help create a better future for children with special needs.

Teekay Vancouver is a key sponsor of Variety’s annual Boat for Hope event. Local skippers volunteer their time and their boats, taking children and their families out for a swash-buckling adventure on the high seas. Once firmly back on land, everyone is treated to a barbecue and carnival put on by local volunteers, including Teekay Vancouver employees.

On June 9, a team of 13 Teekay staff spent the day setting up booths, decorating, manning games and crafts, and dismantling and cleaning up the event site.
